Notice of the Club Annual General Meeting

Friday 1st November 2013 at 7.30pm in the Golspie Community Lounge.

On behalf of the Club Committee, I am pleased to invite you to attend the forthcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). Agenda to follow.

The AGM is an important constitutional gathering of East Sutherland Wheelers’ members to hear about the progress of the Club, recent and on-going developments and the many achievements of the various sections and their members during the past year. The meeting also provides a forum for members to put forward their ideas for the future of the Club.

A minimum of voting members are required to conduct the AGM in accordance with club constitution.

Voting members may make nominations for the committee to be elected at the AGM. This must be done by sending the nominees name, the post for which they are nominated and the names of both the proposer and seconder to the Club Secretary. This should be received no later than Saturday 26st October 2013. Nominations are welcome for all positions. East Sutherland Wheelers need more people to drive the club forward so looking forward to hear from you.

The positions that are open for nominations are:
• Chair
• Treasurer
• Secretary
• Volunteer coordinator
• Press secretary
• Membership secretary

The AGM will also consider a range of important club matters as determined by the Chairman. In addition, if you have any other business that you feel is relevant to the AGM, then please note that this should be submitted to the secretary, in writing or mail, by Saturday 26st October.
