ESW members clock up over 1000km!

Last weekend ESW members clocked up more than 1000km (!) on their odometers undertaking on extreme cycling (and running) challenges throughout the Highlands.

Going the distance...

Our very own Touring Coordinator James Plowman tackled a 300km Audax challenge from Portmahomack to Dornoch, Loth, Melvich, Tongue, Strath Hope, Ardgay, and Edderton then back Portmahomack.

James commented “it was a really enjoyable day; with an Audax you can take things at your own pace so there is no racing involved. I met a lot of really great people too... My next target..? .I am looking to do a 400km Audax!”. John and Hazel Lyon along with Anne and Innis Mitchell also took the Audax challenge completing a nonstop 100km! ; Whilst Fiona Paton and Keith Jones completed the 200K Audax.
