CELEBRATE DIRT CRIT MTB LEAGUE - FOR THE JERSEY!!

How are the Celebrate Dirt Crit MTB Series scored?

Celebrate DirtCrit MTB Series is a points based series of crit event with seperate jerseys for each age category (ony Golspie and Tain events!).

Points allocation (these are series points - not BC points!)

1st Place- 15 points

2nd Place- 12 points

3rd Place- 7 points

4th Place- 5 points

5th Place- 3 points

All other finishers- 1 point

In the event of any ties at the end of the series, the winner in each category will be decided by a one lap time trial immediately after the end of the race of the final event.

Scores of all events combined together will be used to identify the overall winner. An overview of points will be available on www.eastsutherlandwheelers.org.uk and on ESW Facebook page.

The presentation of Yellow/Green Leader Jerseys aims to provide the top placed rider with a visible representation of their achievements in the next event. This Jersey has to be worn at next event by the race Leader – failing this all Series points will be removed from the rider. The rider with the most points at the end of the series will keep the Leader Jersey as a trophy.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION IN THE EVENT OF RACE CANCELLATION

If for any reason the event is cancelled prior to the event riders will be contacted by email as soon as possible to advise them. This will also be announced on our facebook page. On race day the track and weather conditions will be assessed by the Organiser and Commissaire  and should conditions be at such a level that racing is un-safe, riders will be contacted as soon as possible via their emergency contact number.
